HUGH Cornwell is one of the UK’s finest songwriting talents and live performers. He is also a writer and his second novel, Arnold Drive, was published late last year.

On March 14 from 7.30pm, this music icon will be visiting Octavia’s Bookshop in Black Jack Street, Cirencester for a book signing event.

Tickets are available from Octavia’s Bookshop for £5 to include wine and canapés. This is a ticket only event as space is limited.

As the original guitarist, singer and main songwriter in the British rock band The Stranglers, Hugh has enjoyed massive success with ten hit albums and 21 Top Forty singles, etching himself into Europe and the USA’s musical psyche with classic songs, including Peaches, No More Heroes, Golden Brown, Always the Sun and Duchess.

Cornwell’s first novel Window on the World was published in 2011.
