FOR the very first time Fairford Arts Society will be holding an exhibition of its members’ work in Cirencester.
The society has grown steadily over the years and now has a membership of over 30 artists.
They work in a wide variety of media, from acrylics, oils, pastels, pencil and inks. Some members enjoy creating objects using mosaics, glass and wood.
The society meets monthly at the Community Centre in the High Street. There are demonstrations and workshops with local artists bringing their expertise to encourage new skills and also casual, drop-in workshops held twice a month.
This is the first time the society has taken its work beyond Fairford and from Tuesday, November 11, Fairford Arts Society will be holding an exhibition at the Pop-Up Gallery at New Brewery Arts.
The exhibition runs until November 23, from 10am to 4pm. Visit: fairfordartsociety.weebly.com
