SWINDON’S Wyvern Theatre pantomime cast, led by Nigel Havers, met at The Riverside in Lechlade-on-Thames to launch Dick Whittington which runs from Saturday, December 6, to Sunday, January 4, 2015.
Nigel Havers, who stars as King Rat, has been a star of stage and screen for 40 years and is well-known for a variety of roles. On TV he is most recently known for his role as love-rat Lewis Archer in Coronation Street and he also appeared in the Christmas special of Downton Abbey.
Nigel Havers was joined at the pantomime launch by newcomers Lucy Kane and Kristian Morse, pantomime favourite David Ashley, who has performed in the Wyvern Theatre’s festive productions for the last three years, and Lewis Barnshaw and Suzie Chard, who have performed in pantomime at the Wyvern previously; Lewis as Dandini in Cinderella and Suzie as the Genie in Aladdin.
