CIRENCESTER Parish Church will be filled with music on Saturday, September 13, at 7.30pm.
The Corinium Players Guitar Ensemble will be performing a selection of music, including classical, Latin and easy listening pieces inspired by the beautiful artwork from the Hare Festival.
Go along and listen to the warm sounds of a classical guitar ensemble played by youngsters aged 8-18.
Members travel from across Gloucestershire and the three surrounding counties to perform in the group.
The Corinium Players Guitar Ensemble was established in Cirencester in 1999 by Sandra Dukes.
The group was created to give classical guitarists the opportunity to develop their musical skills and perform as an ensemble.
The ensemble today comprises a junior, intermediate and senior section who also combine into a unique Guitar Orchestra.
The logo of the group illustrates the Corinium Hare jumping across a Roman mosaic displayed around the sound hole of a classical guitar.
Tickets priced £10 (to include first drink) are available through the Corinium Players website www.coriniumplayer.com or from the Visitor Information Centre 01285 654180.
