ONE of Britain’s most collectable contemporary artists. Jeremy Houghton is to exhibit From The Meadows of the Cotswolds to The Fields of the Somme at the prestigious Haynes Fine Art gallery at Picton House in Broadway from May 30 to June 15.

Jeremy is one of the country’s most prolific and sought-after artists, having assembled an impressive list of achievements over the last five years. Following a commission to paint HM The Queen in 2009, Jeremy was an official artist for London 2012 and, the following year, HRH The Prince of Wales asked him to be Artist in Residence at Highgrove; the same year Jeremy was the tour artist for the Aston Martin Centenary Tour of Europe. In the last few months, at the behest of HM The Queen and The Horse Trust, Houghton has been painting in The Royal Mews at Windsor.

Included in the exhibition Jeremy will be showing his First World War depictions of Ponies at War and some vignettes from a recent trip to the Somme, scene of one of the largest battles fought during the First World War.
