THIS Bank Holiday Monday, go along and join the fun in the annual South Cerney Street Fair and Duck Race.

Bigger and better than ever, it’s a good old-fashioned day out for all the family with stalls, food and live music, culminating in a thrilling duck race down the River Churn in the heart of the village.

Browse over 60 stalls, selling everything from bric-a-brac to cupcakes, pottery to clothing.

And to keep you going, visit the delicious home-made food stands and enjoy a drink from the beer tent as you listen to a selection of live bands on the outdoor stage.

Bouncy castles, a carousel, go-kart rides and a magician will keep the children busy or, for something more relaxing, take a stroll around the church and vicarage gardens, admire the delightful flower festival or simply sit down with a cup of tea.

Of course the highlight of the event is the renowned and much loved duck race.

Over 1,000 ducks float down the River Churn, tackling obstacles along the way in the hope of winning their lucky ticket holder the prestigious title.

Raising money for charities and good causes in the Cotswolds couldn’t be more fun.
