SUDELEY Castle in Winchcombe near Cheltenham is to host its first ever food festival in its grounds from July 11-13.
Set against the backdrop of the Cotswold Hills the castle will open its gates to more than 70 food and drink producers, including artisan bakers, local micro-breweries and pulled pork barbecues.
A food & drink theatre will feature a range of cookery demonstrations, children’s cookery workshops and talks from a variety of food and drinks experts.
Roaming entertainers, bake-off competitions and a chance for would-be cookery presenters to compete on the open-mic cookery demos means there will be something for all foodies.
Tickets are available on the festival website fantasticbritishfoodfestivals.com and cost £5 for adults on Friday or £10 for Saturday/Sunday, children go half price and under-five’s go free. Pre-booked three-day tickets are available online and include priority parking and seating in the Food & Drink Theatre.
