DYNAMIC and atmospheric Robin Cousins’ Ice – The Skating Stage Experience will draw you into its unique world, where world class skaters glide, soar, flip and fly in a truly theatrical setting.

Ice features a powerful soundtrack of original music and reworked modern classics, designed to delight and enthral.

The show re-defines ice skating for a new generation with a spectacular show of which UK theatres have not seen in 30 years.

The show is not an adaptation of a ballet, or borrowed from the world of musical theatre. There are no judges, just the audience. It is a show where the choreography is driven by the music, where the movement has room to breathe, and the skaters can let their blades do the talking.

To be able to move like a skater is every dancer’s dream. To be motionless, yet travelling at great speed. Skaters are able to soar across the frozen stage in ways a dancer can only dream of doing.

Robin Cousins is an internationally recognised name on both ice and stage, known for his innovative performing style. Besides his 16 major international titles he has performed, choreographed and directed 10 productions for the world renowned Holiday on Ice, skated on stage at the Radio City Music Hall, starred as Billy Flynn in the London production of Chicago and is head judge on ITV’s hugely successful show Dancing on Ice.

It is staged at Bristol Hippodrome from Wednesday, April 30 to Saturday, May 3. Evenings at 7.30pm, matinees at 2.30pm on Thursday and Saturday with an additional 11.30am programme on Saturday.
