ENGINEERS from Bibury cycled the length of the UK and raised £23,713 for Cancer Research and Air Ambulance sevices.
The idea originated from Nick Evans and Steve Blackwell who, along with Richard Charman, Steve Blackwell and Steve McCahill, all work for agriculture firm Mill Engineers, based in Bibury.
The team of 12 cyclists, which included colleagues from the company's Harvington, Worcestershire, and Pewsey, Wiltshire, branches, took ten days to complete the ride from John O’Groats to Land’s End.
Nick Evans said: “The Air Ambulance provides a life saving service for farmers and those who live and work in rural areas”.
