A COTSWOLD company that supplied Prince Charles with renewable energy installations has taken up residence near his Royal home.

Ecovision, previously based in Uley, has set up base in a restored Cotswold house in Doughton, near Tetbury, with the Prince of Wales as its landlord.

The company is a market leader in renewable energy installation and are renowned for their high profile work at Highgrove and Castle Howard in North Yorkshire.

The Prince is a staunch supporter of renewable energy and as landlord of the new offices at Barley Court, he has planted a tulip tree to mark the occasion.

The use of heat pumps to reduce fuel bills and dependence on fossil fuels is what Ecovision is all about.

A demonstration of the pump is available at the office.

Julian Sowerbutts, director of Ecovision said: “The company is expanding rapidly and we are working on a diverse range of projects from schools and community centres to stately homes.

"In the current climate, economics are as vital as carbon emissions and we ensure that our systems are affordable and where applicable we work with our customers to ensure they receive any available grants.”
