THE following applications have been received by Cotswold District Council.

Bagendon: The Old Rectory, Ash tree (T1) crown reduce by approximately 5 metres height, leaving 22 metres height.

Bibury: 5 Swan Cottages, The Street, Sycamore - remove.

Blockley: Malvern Cottage, High Street, fell two larch.

Bourton-on-the-Water: Co-op Food/Co-Op Petrol Station, Station Road, signage Co-op food store and petrol station - compliance with condition 3 (Lighting (totem).

Chedworth: Fossebridge Inn, Fossebridge, G2 Close to road and footpath, multiple stems, mixed species fell and remove deadwood and stems in decline and within falling distance of road. G3 Group of 6 small Ash and Willow, decay, dieback in crowns, fell to ground level. 881 Common Ash and Alder, two stems close to leisure area, insecurely rooted, fell to ground level 882 Common Ash, one stem, crown density reduced on waterlogged site, fell to ground level.

Cheltenham: Syde Manor, Syde, row of lime trees (T1-8) and beech tree (T9) - crown thinning to reduce shading of garden and free telephone line. Line is at risk from surrounding branches.

Cirencester: 7 Berkeley Road, T.1 - Walnut (located at the end of the shed)- reduce crown and side branches by 2 metres to reduce risk of failure; T.3 - Walnut - (located close to the water butt) - thin crown by 20%; T.2 - Walnut (located at the boundary fence) - tidy any broken branches when split limb is removed; T.5 - Birch (located at the right side of the garden) - lift the lower branches over the neighbours roof to clear by 4ft; 12 The Mead, T1 Yew Tree - reduce to cut line of 2011 (approx 50%) T2 Yew Tree - reduce to cut line of 2011 (approx 50%) T3 Yew Tree - reduce by 35% T4 trim Laurels down to 2.5 metres.

Kemble: Forge House, Limes Road, T.1 - Lime - pollard at 14m height; T.2 - 4 x Laburnums - fell; T.3 - 2 x Poplars - fell; T.4 - Lime & Laburnum - fell.

Little Rissington: South Manor Cottage, Pound Lane, replacement of two external doors.

Moreton-in-Marsh: The Old Mill, School Lane, Blockley, T.1 - Walnut - fell to ground level; T.2 - Willow - crown reduce to previous cut points including thin and deadwood; T.3 - Horse Chestnut - reduce from neighbouring property by 1m and selective end reduction on weak lateral limbs; T.4 - Birch - fell to ground level; T.5 - Goat Willow - fell to ground level; G.1 - Ash group - remove all major dead and minor crown raise; T.6 - Lime - crown raise to approx 5m removing major deadwood; T.7 - Norway Maple - crown raise to approx 5m and crown lean: G.2 - Ash group approx 7 trees - crown raise to 5m over grass strip and remove deadwood.

Tetbury: Wisteria Cottage, Doughton, fell Bird Cherry in hedge. Coppice s Hawthorn, Field Maple, Hazel, dogwood and other remaining species; Glebe House, Church Lane, Shipton Moyne, cherry tree - fell apple tree - fell; Royal Oak, Cirencester Road, Chestnut at the end of the Royal Oak car park, - remove dead and rubbing branches, and re-balance canopy due to its irregular shape, crown lift all around to leave an even bottom of the canopy.

Upper Rissington: 2 Siskin Road, T-134 Whitebeam thin crown and lightly reduce and smaller whitebeam thin crown and lightly reduce. The larger tree is at the front right hand corner of our property as viewed from the street - 2 Siskin Road, Smaller Whitebeam situated at the left corner of property boundary as viewed from the street. The larger tree branches have grown since the last application in 2008 and are almost reaching the property hence the application for the tree works as stated above.

The following applications have been received by North Wiltshire District Council for the North area.

Ashton Keynes: 2 Sadlers Field, 30% crown reduction to previous pruning points to Field Maple.

Brinkworth: Glebe Cottage, The Street, removal of existing prefabricated concrete sectional single garage with asbestos roof and erection of replacement oak wood framed timber double garage with slate roof.

Malmesbury: The Cottage, Morley Farm, Eastcourt, Certificate of Lawfulness for the use of Morley Farm Cottage as a self contained residence; Clattinger Farm, Oaksey, use of residential accommodation as self-contained dwelling (retrospective); 19 Haddons Close, proposed extension and alterations to include raising the roof to create a first floor.

Minety: 10 Oakleaze, reduce Oak Tree (T1) by 5 metres.

Sherston: Burwash, Gaston Lane, erection of concrete sectional garage at the side of the existing property on a hard standing.
