Property News: Number of parent landlords renting to offspring set to double
THE number of parent landlords renting out properties to their offspring could be set to double to 1.4 million.
A report from Post Office Money Mortgages claims that currently 730,000 parents rent out properties to their children.
Their research shows that 30 per cent of parent landlords allow their children to pay only what they can afford on the property.
