Hamptons International announces the winner of its Disney Beauty & the Beast Drawing Competition

HAMPTONS International in Cirencester has announced the winner of its Beauty and the Beast themed drawing competition to mark the partnership with Disney’s Beauty & the Beast movie.

The exciting, new live-action version of the original classic, which achieved a record-breaking 128 million trailer views during its first 24 hours, sees Belle (Emma Watson), a bright and independent young woman, become a prisoner of the Beast (Dan Stevens), only to discover soon that true beauty lies within. Disney’s Beauty and the Beast is in cinemas from March 17.

The competition was organised in conjunction with local children’s club, Draycott Sports Camp and Cirencester Creative Dance Academy, where children were encouraged to draw their ‘happily ever after’ home.

The competition entries were displayed in the branch windows for the benefit of the public, who voted for the winner by posting the name of their favourite mini artist in the ballot box located in the local branch.

Both the winner and the runner up from each branch were awarded with a Beauty & the Beast goody bag which includes a Beauty & the Beast canvas bag, a note book, a bookmark and a pen.

The winner of the drawing competition from each of Hamptons International’s 96 branches has been entered into a bigger prize draw to win a four-day Beauty and the Beast themed family trip to Paris.

The overall winner will be announced at the end of March.

Lexi showed amazing creativity and designed her house with a beautiful rose arched doorway and pink turrets. All the happily ever after homes have brought our branch windows to life and will remain in full display for the next few weeks for all to enjoy.”

Disney’s Beauty and the Beast is a live-action re-telling of the studio’s animated classic which refashions the classic characters from the tale as old as time for a contemporary audience.

Beauty and the Beast is a fantastic journey of Belle (Emma Watson), a bright, beautiful and independent young woman who is taken prisoner by a beast (Dan Stevens) in his castle.

Despite her fears, she befriends the castle’s enchanted staff and learns to look beyond the Beast’s exterior and realise the kind heart and soul of the true Prince within.

Disney’s Beauty & the Beast will release in cinemas Nationwide on March 17.
