HOUSE prices in South Monmouthshire could soar after the halving of the Severn Bridge tolls.
Estate agents told the BBC they believe around 80 per cent of home buyers are coming from the Bristol area in readiness for the toll cuts.
The tolls are due to be halved in 2018 making it an attractive market for Bristol-based buyers put off by soaring prices in their own city.
Property prices in South Monmouthshire have risen quicker than the Wales average as a result.
