HOME-HUNTERS hoping to make a quick and easy move to their perfect place are realising the many benefits of buying a brand new property.

You don’t have to put up with a home that doesn’t suit your needs – whether it’s too small for a growing family, too cold and draughty in the winter or it’s in need of some serious renovation or repair work.

Charlie Joseph, regional sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “Many people make do with their current situation because they’re put off by the thought of moving or think they can’t afford it – but we want to show how easy it can be to buy brand new.”

The Help to Buy scheme enables both eligible first-time buyers and those with a property to sell to secure a Government loan for up to 20 per cent of the full price of their new home, so they only need a 75 per cent loan-to-value mortgage and a deposit as low as five per cent.

Help to Buy is available on new-build homes up to the value of £600,000 and there’s no salary cap for purchasers taking advantage of the scheme.

Taylor Wimpey Bristol is building new homes across Bristol, Gloucestershire, Somerset and Wiltshire.
