IT FEELS like no time at all since the Cheltenham Festival last month, but today is the start of the brilliant Crabbie’s Grand National meeting at Aintree racecourse, writes Conor Shoemark.
I’M pleased to report that the weather is improving, and while there’s still a lot of water hanging around, the ground is heavy but raceable in most places.
THE Cheltenham Trials race day went ahead but unfortunately none of the horses from Fergal O'Brien's yard ran in the end. The ground was just too heavy so we’re saving them for another day.
