Top comedy from local drama group

ON THURSDAY, March 2, the curtain goes up on Stratton Drama Group's latest production 'There Goes the Bride' written by Ray Cooney and John Chapman.

Pictured (from left to right) are Bill Irving, Mary Caitling and Howard Gray who all have major roles in this hilarious farce.

The play is centred around the morning of the wedding of advertising executive Timothy Westerby's daughter and the chaos and confusion caused when Timothy hits his head and awakes to find himself in the company of Polly Perkins a 1920's Flapper Girl straight out of his current advertising campaign.

Performances - March 2/3/4 at St Peter's Church Hall, St Peter's Road Cirencester starting at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £5 and £4.50 for concessions and are available from the Tourist Information Office or at the door.
