Soul from Ruby at Swindon centre

THE soulful voice of Ruby Turner will resonate around the Arts Centre, Swindon on Saturday, February 18, at 8pm.

Ruby has sung with Brian Ferry, UB40, Steve Winwood and Mick Jagger, on whose most recent solo album she sang on five tracks.

During Comic Relief 2005 she dueted Blowing in the Wind with Will Young, accompanied by Jools Holland with whom she frequently tours.

She is equally at home at the Brecon Jazz Festival as on BBC's Songs of Praise, on which she performed four gospel numbers last year, accompanied by the London Community Gospel Choir.

At the Arts Centre, Ruby will be performing with a six-piece band. Her new album, So Amazing, is out now.
