Neighbours star is Fairy Goodness

IF you are looking for a totally traditional family pantomime with an "egg-stra" special festive sparkle then look no further than the Theatre Royal, Bath, this Christmas.

Neighbours star Anne Charleston, who is known to millions for her long-running role as Madge Bishop, the housewife with a heart of gold in the global smash hit Australian soap, and dame extraordinaire Chris Harris will lead an exceptional cast in Bath's traditional family pantomime Mother Goose, appearing at the theatre until Sunday, January 22.

Anne Charleston will be starring as Fairy Goodness and Chris Harris makes a very welcome return to Bath in a brand new version of one of the most famous pantomimes of them all, which he has written and will direct.

Recognised as one of the country's leading dames, Chris Harris will star in the role of Mother Goose.

Christina Baily well known for her role in Hollyoaks, will star as Jack.

Anyone who saw last year's panto, Dick Whittington, will remember Baddie "eggstraordinaire", Mark Buffery. Mark plays the role of the Demon King.

The role of Squire Twerton will be played by Marcus Knibbs. Marcus has appeared in many stage productions and his television work includes Brookside and Jonathan Creek.

The role of Silly Billy will be played by Mark James. Most recently Mark appeared in a major summer pantomime tour of Cinderella. Jessica Punch will appear as Jill and completing the line-up are the talented children from Bath's own Dorothy Coleborn School of Dance.

Mother Goose promises a fun-packed show with hilarious comedy, great singing, dancing, slapstick, glittering costumes and bags of audience participation.
