Beauty and the Beast at the Sundial

CIRENCESTER College performing arts students present Beauty and the Beast at the College's Sundial Theatre next week.

This enchanting fable, by Laurence Boswell, recounts the story of a brave young girl who leaves her beloved but chaotic family to live with a terrifying beast-like creature.

As she overcomes her fear, she discovers the mysteries of love and transformation.

Boswell's adaptation is closer to the original French story than the Disney version and the story is told using imagery of magic and imagination. The play is suitable for all the family.

Performances are on Tuesday, December 13 at 1pm, Wednesday, December 14 at 1pm and 7.30pm and Thursday, December 15 at 1pm and 7.30pm.

Tickets cost £3 (matinees), £5 (concessions) and £7 (adult) and are available from the Sundial Theatre box office on 01285 654228.
