Alfie Moon to play Scrooge in Bristol

THIS Christmas, The Bristol Hippodrome is delighted to welcome Shane Richie, taking a break from his acclaimed EastEnders role as Alfie Moon to return to the stage in the title role of Leslie Bricusse's spectacular musical extravaganza SCROOGE.

SCROOGE - produced by Bill Kenwright and the creative team behind numerous blockbuster musicals including Blood Brothers, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Whistle Down the Wind and Jesus Christ Superstar - takes up residence for a seven week Christmas season at The Bristol Hippodrome.

A heartwarming family musical based on Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol, SCROOGE features spectacular sets and costumes and specially created illusions by magician Paul Kieve, who was responsible for the magical effects in the Harry Potter films.

The ideal Christmas treat, SCROOGE is packed with memorable songs and classic Dickensian characters on a large scale!

Scrooge will be appearing at The Bristol Hippodrome from Tuesday, December 6 to Saturday, January 21. For further details call Ticketmaster on 0870 607 7500.
