THE magic of the great musicals comes to the Sundial Theatre, Cirencester tonight (Thursday) bringing the glitz and glamour from the West End and the bright lights of Broadway.

The production has already enjoyed sell out dates and rave reviews as part of its 2005 tour and has been voted one of the best new shows of 2004 by Theatre Managers from all around the UK.

Mad About The Musicals will provide a two-hour extravaganza of showstoppers allowing you to enjoy the great moments of the classic shows in one evening.

During the performance you will be taken on a whistle stop tour of some of your favourite musicals such as Chicago, Jekyll and Hyde, Les Miserables, Phantom of the Opera, Miss Saigon, Cabaret, Starlight Express and more.

The timeless melodies and unforgettable lyrics of some of the best loved songwriters like Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice are brought together with the stunning vocal talents of a cast of five singers headed by Michael Courtney, Rachel Spurrell and Mark Isherwood.

Michael Courtney made his professional debut as Joseph in the UK tour of Joseph and The Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat.

He has also starred in West Side Story, Oklahoma and is well known to UK audiences as having appeared in over a dozen pantomimes up and down the country.

He is joined by Rachel Spurrell who has been the lead vocalist and dancer in a number of other shows such as Johanna in Sweeney Todd, Maria in the BBC's West Side Story, Sally Bowles in Cabaret and Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors.

Mark Isherwood returns to the cast having played the lead role of Marius in Les Miserables, Freddie Eynsford-Hill in My Fair Lady and Carousel where he starred alongside Darren Day.
