Model car track reopens

COTSWOLD motorsport enthusiasts were out in force at the weekend celebrating the grand re-opening of one of the area's best model car tracks.

The Cotswold Model Car Club's base at Kemble Airfield has recently undergone a massive refurbishment including a new track and pit facilities.

Lord Apsley performed the opening duties at a packed funday at the track on Saturday and club members tested the new track to its limits when they enjoyed a full day's racing on Sunday.
