LEGENDARY poet and local resident Pam Ayres returns to the Everyman Theatre, Cheltenham from Monday-Wednesday, September 12-14 with her 30th anniversary tour entitled They Should Have Asked My Husband.
It's 30 years since Pam first appeared on the TV talent show, Opportunity Knocks, and since then she has been a regular on BBC Radio.
She's been on Radio 2 with her own series, The Comedy Quiz, Pam Ayres' Sunday Afternoon and Pam Ayres' Open Road. Radio 4 shows include Just A Minute, That Reminds Me, The Right Time, Wireless Wise and her own recent series, Ayres on the Air.
Pam is always a favourite with Everyman audiences, selling out every performance.
This show looks to be no exception and members of the audience may find themselves having a starring role too as Tuesday's and Wednesday's performances will be recorded for a special DVD.
The performance on Monday, September 12 is set to raise funds for the Cotswold Care Hospice in Minchinhampton.
A limited number of VIP tickets are on sale, which not only guarantee some of the best seats in the house but also a post-show reception where Pam will be meeting invited guests.
VIP tickets in aid of the hospice are available by calling John Pether on 01285 659093, all other tickets from the Everyman box office on 01242 572573 or visit www.everymantheatre.org. uk
