Twin pupils see double

PUPILS can be forgiven for seeing double at a Cotswold school.

But then its not surprising when 14 of the 103 children at Meysey Hampton Primary are twins.

Four-year-olds Camilla and Rebecca Foster will become the seventh set of twins to join in September and headteacher John Jones admits that it can sometimes be confusing.

He said: "We obviously get to know them individually but some of them are really different to tell apart.

"It certainly helps when their parents dress them differently.

"It's become almost routine to welcome new twins to the school."

The oldest twins at Meysey Hampton are Jack and Ria Meredith, who are 11, and the other sets are varying ages.

In addition to Meysey Hampton, the school also includes Poulton and RAF Fairford in its catchment area.
