A PUPIL at one Cirencester School had it easy this week when her teacher did all of her homework.
Year 8 student Lindsay Pike bid £72 to secure a promise made by headteacher Chiquita Henson at a fundraising auction held to support the Polar Challenge Exchange team.
Lindsay made her teacher stick by her promise to do a pupil's homework for a whole week.
She said: "I really wanted Ms Henson to do my homework because I don't enjoy homework and I wanted Ms Henson to have a sense of what she puts her pupils though."
Ms Henson admitted she found some of the homework difficult, particularly French because she hadn't studied it before.
She said: "Lindsay and I negotiated the week and I felt it only fair to advise that I would be doing her homework.
"I joined Lindsay and completed homework tasks for languages. I was concerned to ensure I didn't let Lindsay or her teachers down."
Although Ms Henson managed to complete her week of homework in the end Lindsay's final verdict was "must try harder - could do better."
