Past and present at Longborough Festival

PAST and present students of opera singer Maria Jagusz are performing at this year's Longborough Festival Opera season.

Alice Nelson, 16, and Louise Booker, 18, play the spirits in Mozart's Magic Flute while Benedict Nelson and Aidan Smith who have just returned from performing in the chorus of Peter Grimes in Salzburg and Berlin, are appearing in Puccini's La Boheme.

They have also worked with Sir Simon Rattle, the Berlin Philharmonic and Sir Trevor Nunn.

The Longborough season begins on Friday and Saturday, June 17 and 18 with the production of La Boheme.
