International artist to display in Tetbury

THE Little Gallery at The Coach House, 4 The Chipping, Tetbury is hosting an exhibition of recent oil paintings of France by internationally acclaimed painter, K B Hancock, who has recently returned from a winter painting trip of Provence and the Cote d'Azur.

K B Hancock is well-known for his impressionist oil paintings of Provence which capture the exceptional colours and light of that area.

The paintings which will be on view reflect the beauty of the south of France in all its seasons - the high-key colours of summer, soft early light across the Luberon in spring and dramatic blue skies above glistening which snow which fell, unusually, this winter in the Cote d'Azur.

"KB" has always been a Francophile and spent his formative years in

Paris and Versailles where he had been sent to study art by his father, a successful portrait painter. He is the only English artist to be invited every year to exhibit at the prestigious Paris Salon at the Carousel du Louvre.

The exhibition runs until Sunday, June 12 and is open daily from 10.30am-5pm.
