COME and join the fun at this year's Suzuki Cotswold Show and Country Fair, which will once again take place in the beautiful setting of Cirencester Park.
The Show will be held on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 July 2005 and will host events and attractions to suit the whole family.
In its 16th year, the Show promises a wealth of new attractions including camel racing, Roman chariot racing, wolves, Welsh ponies and cobs and a 60th anniversary commemoration of VE Day and VJ Day.
Firm favourites, like the very popular Food Village, the Up 'n' Over dog agility contest and the Suzuki off-road driving experience will also be returning. Gates open at 9am and tickets are only £8 for adults with discounts for advance sales and children under 16. A ticket for a family of four costs only £18.
Lord Apsley, organiser of the event and owner of Cirencester Park, explains the Show's appeal: "The Suzuki Cotswold Show and Country Fair is one of the best ways to enjoy the finest that the Cotswolds has to offer.
"There will be many stalls and shows that capture the spirit and traditions of the countryside, such as the Gun Dog competitions and the Vintage Tractor and Steam Engine displays, but this year we have also included some more unusual attractions which we hope will appeal to a wider audience.
"I'm particularly looking forward to seeing Tony Smart's spectacular stunt team, dressed in full Roman costume, gallop around the main arena in their magnificent horse-drawn chariots and who would want to miss the amazing site of camels racing in Gloucestershire!
"There will be bouncy castles, quad bikes, a flight simulator and lots more entertainment for the children, plus a chance for all visitors to sample and buy great regional produce and country goods from over 200 trade stands around the Showground."
This year's Show is set to be the best yet, with plenty of attractions to keep the whole family entertained.
