West End show coming to the Wyvern Theatre

THREE television favourites have taken to the road from the West End in ART, one of the most successful plays in British theatre history, now touring nationally and coming to the Wyvern Theatre, Swindon from Monday, May 9 to Saturday, May 14.

ART is directed by and stars Simon Shepherd who played Dr Will Preston in ITV's Peak Practise.

He is joined by Michael Garner, best known as Geoff Pearce in London's Burning and Russell Boulter whose credits include The Bill, Casualty and the West End production of Blood Brothers.

ART opens with Serge, a prosperous dermatologist, buying a painting for £25,000. This appalls his close friend Marc, an aeronautical engineer.

The painting is a five by four white canvas with white lines across it!

The production of ART has made its name around the world since it first opened in London in 1996 and has received many awards both here and in the USA where it was the most successful play in Broadway's history.
