Eddie and friends set for Water Park date

THE Gateway Centre at the Cotswold Water Park welcomes the amazing Eddie Martin Band on Friday, April 15.

Eddie, who is equally talented on the guitar, the blues harp and as a vocalist, is about to officially launch his and the Band's new album, Play the Blues with Feeling.

Twice nominated UK blues guatarist of the year, Eddie's guitar style is a combination of rural blues and flamenco techniques.

Highly unusual for a British blues player, he is as highly regarded in Texas as in the UK and has been described as "Certainly the best blues guitarist this country has produced since Clapton."

Eddie will be performing both a solo acoustic set and then fronting his three piece band which comprises Marion "Tex" Dolton on bass and Michael Wiedrich on drums.

Tickets from the Cotswold Water Park Society on 01285 861459, Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm, or in person from the Gateway Centre, 9am-7pm seven days a week.

The Centre is on the B4696 Spine Road, just off the A419. Doors open at 7.15pm for 8pm start. Refreshments will be on sale in the interval.
