Cirencester and District Football League round-up

IN Division One of the Cirencester and District Football League, leaders Fairford Town A hosted third-placed Beeches who continued their good run with a 3-0 win which all but ends Fairford's chance of the title.

Second-placed CHQ United also won comfortably at struggling Purton A to move within two points of the lead with four games in hand.

With only a few matches left, the title looks to be between these two with their meeting at CHQ on the 16th looking like a six-pointer.

In Division 2, Bibury Reserves took another step nearer the title with a 5-1 win over basement team Minety. They now need seven points from their last five matches to close out the opposition. Latest results as follows:
