Wilson's Midnight brought to life at Everyman

MIDNIGHT, the best-selling book by Jacqueline Wilson, one of Britain's favourite children's authors, is being brought to life at The Everyman Theatre, Cheltenham until Saturday, April 2.

It tells the story of 12 year-old Violet, her difficult but charming older brother, Will, and her new friend, the beautiful and charismatic Jasmine.

Violet sometimes retreats into her own private fantasies, but she does have to learn to face the real world - even when Will and Jasmine seem drawn to each to each other and Violet feels left out.

It's an inspirational story about growing up, the power of imagination and learning to live with who you are. But it's also an intriguing and mysterious story with a great plot and characters familiar to every family. It shows exactly why Jacqueline Wilson's book sales have just topped 20 million.
