IT took a little bit of magic for a 13-year-old from Lechlade to win a top prize at Crufts this week.
Anthony Clarke, who goes to Farmor's School, and Magic, his five-year-old Border Collie/Belgium Shepherd, won Agility Dog of the Year in Birmingham on Thursday.
It was third time lucky for Anthony, who has competed in the junior section of the famous dog show twice before.
He said: "I showed last year and the year before, but last year I was unlucky because she (Magic) knocked the poll down in the final.
"But this year we won and I was gobsmacked."
Anthony's interest in dogs began when he was just six and his family currently own seven dogs between them.
He added: "I love dogs because they are so willing to please and I'll definitely be entering Crufts again next year, but perhaps with my puppy this time."
