CIRENCESTER supermarket manager Simon Wright had a hair-raising encounter with TV comedian Dom Joly - to help victims of the Asian tsunami disaster.
The 32-year-old, who runs Tesco's town centre branch, had his head shaved by the Trigger Happy TV star at the weekend.
And shoppers were only to happy to give donations while the celebrity crimper got to work in the middle of the store.
The branch, helped by fundraiser Sue Benning, had drummed up more than £9,000 for the appeal and aimed to break the £10,000 mark with Simon's close shave.
