Pupils welcome Royal engagement

SOME of Prince Charles' youngest fans have given a glowing endorsement to his plans to marry.

The pre-school pupils at Tigger's Nursery in Westonbirt made a giant Valentine's Card for Charles and Camilla this week.

The school, which is situated near Highgrove, has a long history with Prince Charles , and the youngsters were delighted to hear of his engagement.

The prince opened the nursery in 2001, and in the summer of that year the pupils were given a special tour of Highgrove's gardens.

Nursery manager Jane Hurrell said: "Charles only lives a mile down the road and he is a local man, so we made a big card for him.

"I am just about to post it to St James's Palace and they said they would pass it onto him.

"We are really pleased for Charles and Camilla - they obviously love each other very much and we wish them all the happiness in the world."
