Best feet forward for Tango night

LEADING British tango band, Tango Siempre, makes its first visit to the Sundial Theatre, Cirencester on Friday, February 25 at 8pm.

It features Pete Rosser on accordion and bandoneon, Ros Stephen on violin, Kylie Davies on double bass and Jonathan Taylor on piano.

"Tango Siempre can do passion, drama, melancholy beauty and sentimentality and, like the best tango bands, they play with a fiery spirit that goes hand in fist with virtuosity and precision," said John L Walters in a recent Guardian review.

Expect a varied programme spanning several styles of the tango Argentino, from the intoxicating rhythms and melodies of 1930s Buenos Aires to the beautiful nuevo tango of Astor Pizolla and new tangos by Peter Rosser.

Tickets from the box office on 01285 654228 or via boxoffice@cirencester.ac.uk
