Cirencester and District Football League round-up

THE two-horse race for the Cirencester and District Football League title took a tilt towards leaders Fairford, who all but ended Siddington's interest with a 1-0 win, whilst close rivals CHQ United went down to in-form Ashton Keynes.

CHQ have three games in hand over the leaders, but with Fairford opening up a six-point lead they can't afford to drop any more points.

In Division 2, Bibury Reserves moved a step nearer the title with a 3-0 home win over Oakridge while Lechlade beat Kingshill to open up a ten-point lead over their nearest rival for a promotion spot. Results for Saturday's matches as follows:
