SWINDON Town gave a lacklustre display in the FA Cup on Saturday, slumping to a disappointing 1-1 draw at home to League 2 side Notts County.
Defender Sean O'Hanlon gave the Robins a great start, poaching his second of the season in the 16th minute, but Town could not hold on to their 1-0 lead.
In fact, Stefan Oakes levelled the scores in the dying seconds to give the Magpies another bite at the cherry when the two side's replay next week.
Town boss Andy King, who blasted his players as 'atrocious' after what was indeed a forgettable encounter, said: "The only positive is that we're still in the draw."
He continued: "It was probably the worst game of football I've seen here for a long time.
"The first half was atrocious and the second half even worse. It was a horrible game, and the only comfort I take out of it is that we're still in the hat.
"We didn't play at all. We had no urgency, no confidence, we knocked balls long from anywhere, but I still felt comfortable.
"But when a team throws ten men forward in injury time, then anything can happen."
After an encounter with Huddersfield on Wednesday, Swindon will look to take all the points when they welcome Doncaster Rovers to the County Ground this weekend.
Doncaster, who are currently 12th in League 1, have just signed talented striker Lee Johnson from Leeds on a month's loan.
Rovers have been in indifferent form of late, but should be easy pickings for a Swindon side playing well. Unfortunately for Swindon fans, that doesn't happen very often at the moment.
