Brazier wins parakarting title for second year on the trot

DANIEL Brazier, of Cirencester, has for the second year running won the British Parakarting Supercup standard class.

Brazier, who is only 15 years old, races against adults at the top level of this exciting and extreme sport and has made great strides in the short time he has been competing.

The final round was held at Hoylake recently where Brazier dominated the class for the final two-hour enduro.

The Deer Park School pupil was flying his four- metre Flexifoil Blade 3 for the whole race and managed to stay out of trouble to clinch the championship.

And he was recently presented with a trophy and prizes by the 2003 and 2004 British Champion, Graham Steel.

Daniel is now looking forward to 2005 with new kites from Flexifoil and a new Parakart from local company Square Metre.

And he is also set to compete wheel to wheel with his father, Richard Brazier, when their 2005 season starts with the PKA 'Icicles' Enduro at Westward Ho! on January 29-30.

If anyone wants to know more about this sport, or is interested in sponsoring Daniel, please contact Richard Brazier on 01285 651620.
