The Nat King Cole Story

DANNY Williams will be serenading the audience at Cirencester's Corn Hall with The Nat King Cole Story - over two hours of superb entertainment told in words and music.

It charts Nat's life from a young boy in 1920s Chicago to shows in Las Vegas, London and New York and performances in front of the crowned heads of the world.

Famed for his recording of Moonriver, which topped the charts in 1961, British easy listening star Danny, backed by the Cliff Longhurst musicians, performs all those unforgettable songs made famous by Nat King Cole.

"The audience will be treated to nearly 40 tracks, covering five decades and including Mona Lisa, Nature Boy, Route 66, Stardust and When I Fall In Love," said Cotswold District Council Events Officer, Rik Husdan.
