THE National Arboretum at Westonbirt, near Tetbury welcomes a very special picnic concert into the 2004 Festival of Gardens - when Karen-Eve and Chloe, the Midnight Storytellers, perform Moonshine Tales on Saturday, June 19 at 7.30pm.
With special guests, the Voices of the Community Choir of Bristol, the concert offers a delightful mix of music and high-energy entertainment. The show will take place within one of the amazing feature sites of the 2004 Festival of Gardens, giving the audience a special after hours chance to enjoy the exhibition.
From outrageous humour to poignant history, from rollicking folktales to controversial stories by top modern authors, the Gloucestershire-based duo of southern belle Karen-Eve and Celtic Chloe are breaking new ground in spontaneous performance for the 21st century.
Tickets should be booked in advance from 01666 880220. Please bring seats, picnic and warm clothing. The performance will take place under cover if it rains.
