Win tickets to see T-Rex tribute band

THE T-Rex tribute band T-Rextasy returns to the Corn Hall, Cirencester on Saturday, June 10 for another high profile gig.

To watch T-Rextasy in concert not only demands stamina, but also a healthy pair of lungs to sing along to the numbers that made Marc Bolan the leading force of Glam Rock. Hits such as Metal Guru, Telegram Sam, Children of the Revolution, Ride a White Swan and 20th Century Boy will certainly give fans in Cirencester a night to remember.

T-Rextasy have managed to attract a wide age group as they have played alongside such diverse bands as Status Quo, Blur and Iron Maiden and they have gained respect from Marc Bolan's contemporaries. All this is helped by the fact that the lead singer bears an uncanny resemblance to the great man himself, both in voice and looks.

Tickets from Cirencester TIC on 01285 654180 and Swindon TIC on 01793 530328. Doors open at 8.15pm for an 8.45pm start.

The CDC events office which has organised the evening is offering a pair of tickets to the winner of the following competition.

Answer the two questions below and send your answers, with name, address and telephone number to Di Alexander, The Wilts and Gloucestershire Standard, 74 Dyer Street, Cirencester, GL7 2PW, to arrive here no later than Wednesday, June 16.
