LOCAL celebrity Barbara Pollard was the guest of honour at Malmesbury Skittle League's annual presentation evening, held at the Red Bull in Malmesbury on the Friday before last.

Barbara, of Abbey House Gardens, presented trophies to the prizewinners for the 2003/4 season as follows:

First Division: champions Badminton B, runners-up Rebels; Second Division: champions Sure Losers, r/up Brussel Sprouts; Third Division: champions Avons, r/up Oaksey Throwers; Fourth Division: Sherston RBL, r/up Minety Moonrakers; Fifth Division: Picadors, r/up Pic and Mix; Sixth Division: Angels, r/up Fruit n Nuts; Seventh Division: HFC Dooners, r/up Mad Hatters.

Knockout Cup: winners Wooden Tops, r/up Triers; Nomination Cup: Badminton B, r/up Oddbods; Double Exit Cup: Alley Cats, r/up Monkees; Bob Barnes Away Cup: HFC Dooners.
