A Voice of the Future

MULTI-talented Jack Mizzi, 16, from Cirencester, wowed everyone at the recent Cheltenham Competitive Festival of Music.

His audiences could not believe the quality and maturity of his operatic tenor voice and they were even more amazed when he switched voices to produce his remarkable male soprano, which is a complete contrast to his tenor, and a rare gift.

Jack has recently recorded his first demo CD entitled Don't Judge a Book by its Cover, which is causing a buzz in the classical commercial music industry.

Experts feel that Jack, with his unique, powerful voices, his bright personality and good looks, is a rare package with much to offer.

Jack will be performing at Longborough Festival Opera on July 26.

He is playing the title tenor role of Bastien in a small Mozart opera called Bastien and Bastienne, as well as running two workshops based on this opera and on The Marriage of Figaro, where he plays the role of Cherubino, a travesty part more often sung by a female voice.
