Antique exhibition being held at Bourton-on-the-Hill

THE guest of honour at a Cotswold art and antique exhibition this weekend will be Tessa Jowell MP.

Called Par Excellence, the exhibition is being held at Tithe Barn, Bourton-on-the-Hill, and is part of the 25th anniversary celebration of the Cotswold Art and Antique Dealers Association (CADA).

The MP will visit the exhibition on Saturday.

The exhibition, which will showcase all that the CADA has to offer, will be raising money for Thrive, a national charity also celebrating 25 years.

Thrive uses gardening and horticulture to enable disadvantaged, disabled and older people to participate more fully in social and economic life of the community.

Lady Henrietta Spencer-Churchill of Woodstock Designs, who will be arranging the exhibition, will be attending this evening and signing copies of her new book.

The event is open to the public free of charge today (Friday), tomorrow (Saturday) and Sunday, from 10am to 4pm.

The items on display will all be for sale.

* The exhibition is taking place at Tithe Barn, Bourton-on-the-Hill not Bourton-on-the-Water, as was incorrectly published in the Standard on May 20.
