Wilde Classic at Playhouse

IN the year of the 150th anniversary of Oscar Wilde's birth in 1854, Troika - Birmingham's own professional theatre company - presents Wilde's effervescent, genial comedy gem, The Importance of Being Earnest at The Cotswold Playhouse in Stroud from June 2-5 at 7.30pm.

Described as a 'trivial play for serious people' The Importance overflows with bonhomie and bequeaths to the English stage some of its best loved characters - Algernon Moncrieff, Jack Worthing, Miss Prism and the indomitable Lady Bracknell. Don't miss it.

Tickets from the box office on 01453 760960.
