Evening of Opera at the Corn Hall

AN Evening of Pure Opera which comes to the Corn Hall, Cirencester on May 22 at 7.30pm, features favourite areas from some of the greatest composers of all time.

Musical works from Bizet, Mozart, Puccini and Verdi make this show a fresh, energetic and lively combination of all that is best in opera.

The company consists of several highly experienced and exceptionally talented musicians and performers who bring the quality of West End opera to Cirencester.

The artists perform regularly for several national opera companies and they include Maria Jagusz, well-known to her many followers in Cirencester where she lives, who has performed professionally for many years.

Maria has worked on world opera cruises and has sung alongside Domingo and Carreras as a mezzo-soprano.

"It will be an operatic extravaganza," said Cotswold District Council events officer, Rik Husdan.
