CHQ United players enjoy a rewarding presentation evening

AT CHQ United FC's annual prizegiving, held at the Royal Oak in Lechlade on the Saturday before last, manager Bryn Skrine and Tim May reported that although results had been disappointing, a good spirit had been maintained by both teams during the course of the season.

They were also pleased to add that great strides had been made off the field, including improvements to the changing rooms and training facilities.

Several new players had been signed during the latter part of the season and there was much optimism that both squads will be stronger next season.

The awards were made as follows: 1st XI. Manager's player of the year Tom Coggins, players' player of the year Adam Townsend, most improved player Joe Jones, clubman of the year Adam Townsend, goal of the season Chip Lewis.

Reserve team. Manager's player of the year Karl Indge, players' play of the year Colin Sandell, most improved player Jamie Walton, clubman of the year Wayne Little, top scorer Jason Potter.

Thanks go to the staff at Royal Oak and to first team manager Bryn Skrine for organising this event.
