Licence to thrill

CHILDREN at Ann Edwards School in South Cerney showed they had a licence to thrill when they took to the stage at a big dance festival.

The youngsters took part in the Gloucestershire Dance Festival at the Town Hall in Cheltenham.

Teacher Carol Bassett said: "It was a wonderful evening. The festival was a celebration of dance and is held every year.

"We had been practicing for about six weeks before the event. Our routine was to the theme of James Bond."

Around 200 schools were involved in the event, which took place in March.
